Adults — Nigerian passports

• Nigerian passport holders: Thailand e-visa via the official online portal — no in-person consulate appointment in most cases.
• Apply 4–6 weeks ahead; supporting documents include confirmed hotels, flights and proof of funds.
• The Thai mission reserves the right to request an interview; we build the timeline to allow for it.

Children — US passports

• US passport holders enter Thailand visa-free for tourism (currently 60 days) — no application required.
• Only valid passports and onward tickets are needed for the children.

Flights & climate

• Lagos (LOS) → Doha (DOH) → Bangkok (BKK) — Qatar Airways, approx. 19–21 hours total including layover.
• Return: Phuket (HKT) → Doha (DOH) → Lagos (LOS) — Qatar Airways, approx. 20–22 hours.
• Internal Bangkok → Phuket sector: approx. 1h25m.

Late December

Bangkok 26–32°C, Phuket 27–31°C. Late December is peak dry season — the finest weather of the year.

Adults — Nigerian passports

• Nigerian passport holders: Vietnam e-visa, applied for entirely online — no consulate appointment required.
• Single or multiple entry, valid up to 90 days; approval typically issued within 3–5 working days.
• Approval letter is printed and presented on arrival; we handle the full submission on the family's behalf.

Children — US passports

• US passport holders also require an e-visa for Vietnam — same online process, applied for at the same time as their parents.
• Children travelling with both parents need only birth certificates as supporting proof of relationship.

• Lagos (LOS) → Doha (DOH) → Da Nang (DAD) via Ho Chi Minh City — Qatar Airways, approx. 22–25 hours total.
• Return: Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) → Doha (DOH) → Lagos (LOS) — Qatar Airways, approx. 21–23 hours.
• Internal Da Nang → Ho Chi Minh City sector: approx. 1h20m, included in the itinerary planning.

Adults — Nigerian passports

• Nigerian passport holders: eNTRI / eVISA applied for online through the official Malaysian portal — no consulate visit for most applicants.
• Approval usually within 3–7 working days; a Malaysia Digital Arrival Card is completed before departure.
• Generally the most predictable approval process of the four destinations.

Children — US passports

• US passport holders enter Malaysia visa-free for up to 90 days.
• The children complete only the free Digital Arrival Card before travel.

Adults — Nigerian passports

• Important: Singapore does not accept direct online applications from Nigerian passport holders. The application must be lodged through an authorised visa agent or the High Commission.
• Nigerian applicants are expected to hold three existing visas — UK, US and Canada — before the consulate will accept the application.
• Processing is discretionary and can take several weeks; documentation, financials and travel history are scrutinised closely.
• We would need to begin this process immediately, and would advise holding Vietnam or Malaysia as a parallel back-up.

Children — US passports

• US passport holders enter Singapore visa-free for up to 90 days.
• The children's entry is straightforward; the constraint applies only to the adults.

Flights & climate

• Lagos (LOS) → Doha (DOH) → Singapore (SIN) — Qatar Airways, approx. 21–23 hours total.
• Return: Singapore (SIN) → Doha (DOH) → Lagos (LOS) — Qatar Airways, approx. 21–23 hours.
• No internal flight required — both stays are on the same island, a 25-minute private transfer apart.
